Hello!
I’m Caroline and in 2019 my new year’s resolution was to learn a new skill, cut to a few ceramics evening classes later and I was head over heels with clay and it’s endless possibilities. I jumped in feet first, leaving a background in luxury fashion and embraced learning about this ancient material.
Foredays is a collection of slow made, functional homeware that I hope will be kept and cherished for years to come. Using high-fired stoneware, each piece is hand built or thrown on the potter’s wheel from my garden studio in Bath.
The name Foredays originates from an old poetic word for mornings, a fresh start with each day and each new ball of clay!
